It's Time For Free Art Shows, Festivals, Meetings, And More!

LABELLE, FL. -- It's that time of year when community groups put on their local art shows and festivals throughout Hendry and Glades county.  Here's listing of what you can see and do through February:

Art in the Park in Moore Haven, Saturday, January 28, 2012, 9 AM to 4 PM. 

Ortona's February 4, 2012 Cane Grinding Festival, Larry Luckey Indian Mound Park (fee)

The Arts of the Inland festival, "Arts in the Park" Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Barron Park in LaBelle.

Fort Myers Art Fest - February 4th, 5th

Family Fun Day, Saturday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Picayune Strand State Forest Field Office – 2121 52nd Ave. South in Naples

20th Annual Sour Orange Festival - Lakeport in Glades county,  February 11, 8-4 p.m.

2nd Annual South Florida Ag Expo on Friday, February 17th at the old airstrip in Clewiston next to the Clewiston Country Club

Tuesday, February 21st from 5 pm to 8 pm, the third annual "LaBelle Night On The Town" on Ft. Thompson Avenue, between Bridge and Main Streets. Sponsored by the Hendry County EDC and the Greater LaBelle Chamber of Commerce.

"17th Annual Old Timer's Dinner" Thursday, February 23rd at the LaBelle Civic Center, sponsored by the LaBelle Heritage Museum. Tickets $15.00

Swamp Cabbage Festival - LaBelle, Parade 10 a.m. February 28 and activities in Barron Park through the 29th
