Fred N Thomas, age 73, of Clewiston, passed away August 23, 2018 in Clewiston.
He was born November 15, 1944, in Scottsville, Kentucky to Hubert and Lucille (Devine) Thomas. Fred worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years as a mail carrier. He was a member of the Clewiston Elks Lodge # 1853 and the Moore Haven Fraternal Order of Eagles # 4523. An avid golfer, he founded and organized Fred's Annual Golf Scramble for 13 years benefitting the Elks Scholarship Fund.
Fred leaves behind his two children, Jenny Nelson and Jacob Thomas; his two grandchildren; his brother, Larry Thomas and many lifelong friends.
