And when is Glades county going to re align the districts--They really seem lop sided now...Would it not make sense to re draw these lines before the next election??For the benefit of the voters in all of the districts. It is rather obvious we currently have elected officials that do not care about areas outside of their voting districts..BTW who's district were the newly paved roads in anyways?

It seems totally unfair the district with highest tax base is given the lowest of priorities of services by the county.

We all ready know it is useless to approach the County Manager about these issues..Why he does not even live or pay taxes in this county--So what does he care--As long as he collects a pay check and spends is elsewhere..Thanks a lot Bucko...

I would like to HIGHLY PRAISE the County Road Department ...The men do a wonderful job maintaining the many un paved roads. But they can only be stretched so far. The county really needs to reevaluate the costs of maintaining some of these rural roads vs the costs of paving them.
The enhancement of better roadways will do nothing but increase the values of the adjacent lands..which in turn will increase the tax base.

One last question---Is Mr Jones double dipping??? Is he not the EMS director???Is this Deputy County Manager position a paid job??? If it is what is his salary for these two jobs?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
