Precautionary Boil Water Notice For LaBelle

Precautionary Boil Water Notice

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the City of LaBelle water service area. All City of LaBelle water users are advised to bring drinking water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to consumption.

The notice is necessary due to an equipment failure. On Tuesday, January 30, between the hours of 5:30am and 7:00am the water service was shut off (pressure loss) to the city water service area due to a voltage problem. Service is back to normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

This notice is effective immediately and is expected to be in effect until Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:30 pm when a Bacteriological Survey shows the water is safe to drink or a different notice is issued regarding the boil water action. For further information please call Joseph Thomas at 863-674-1147 or City Hall during regular business hours at 863-675-2872.
