CLEWISTON, FL. -- Clifton Brown, 76 of Clewiston was traveling east on Georgia Ave west of 12th St. at 5:15 p.m. Monday in a 1993 Lincoln Towncar. It is believed he had suffered a medical condition behind the wheel.
Subsequently the car ran off the roadway to the left. The left front of collided with the canal and the vehicle came to final rest facing east in the canal on the north shoulder of Georgia Ave west of 12th St.
The driver was transported to Hendry Regional were he was later pronounced deceased.
