LABELLE, FL. -- Tonight will be a rare opportunity to see an eclipse of the moon as the sun casts a shadow of the earth on the full moon.

The partial phase of the eclipse begins at 9:36 pm Eastern time. The full eclipse will be seen as a blood-red shadow cast on the moon begins at 11:41 pm Eastern and finishes at 12:43 am on Monday morning.

Here's what you will see from a video and commentary by Don Browne of the eclipse of the full moon that happened April 2014, as the earth stood between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow on the moon; the stray sun beams around the edge of the moon creating a reddish hue on the entire moon for several hours that morning.
