Write-In Vote Suggested By Colbert
Stephen Colbert has endorsed Rick Parry as a write in candidate for the Iowa Republican party straw vote on Saturday. Colbert says Parry with an "A" is because "team" doesn't have an "E."
Iowa TV station WOI-5, the ABC affiliate in Des Moines has refused to run the Colbert advertisements saying they "confuse the voters." Colbert pointed out however that although they wouldn't take his money to run them, it was run free on a story on the WOI 11 p.m. news.
Um, that was a nice summary of Thursday's Colbert Report from a news organization...
