I recall Mr. Ortega buying property for what I in my opinion thought was an unusual amount of cash or monitary instruments (like $60,000 for a lot) from the honorable Central County board some years back. I hope someone investigates that money trail in accordance to applicable law as due diligence during the court process just to make sure that everything is accounted for and proper.
ReplyDeleteOrtega bought a 1.18 acre parcel at 163 Pine Lake Av. from the Central County Water Control District in April 2007 for $61,000. It is now valued by the Hendry property appraiser at $5,310. The CCWCD bought it for $3,700 in 2003. Property records indicate he owns 11 parcels of land in Hendry county. 630 E. Paso Fino is shown as his homestead residence.
ReplyDeleteIf we start from the core and point of the matter, both land and cattle roamed in the land of make believe. In my opinion.
