Food Bank Relief Workers Planning In Advance Of Hurricane Dorian

FORT MYERS, FL. -- Midwest Food Bank Florida is proactively working to help potential victims of Hurricane Dorian. 37 pallets of food and beverages have been distributed to partner agencies, including area shelters. In addition, volunteers will be assembling Disaster Relief boxes at the MFB Florida warehouse on Wednesday, September 4.

As a first responder for The Salvation Army, Midwest Food Bank can have Disaster Relief family food boxes on the road within 24 hours of a call. Those who would like to help cover the cost of the supplies or the fuel needed to transport them may do so by texting @MFB to 52014, or visiting MidwestFoodBank.org, and clicking “Donate.” On the donation form, select “Disaster Relief” for the designation.
