both sales volume and prices in 2004. $1.66 million in homes sales volume
was recorded with 165 sales. In the Clewiston, area 119 homes sold in 2004.
The average LaBelle home sales price in 2004 was $139,000. The year before
(2003) LaBelle home sales totaled $1.3 million with 122 sales at an average
price of $108,000. The average home sale price in 2004 was nearly 29% higher
than 2003, with sales volume up 35% in 2004. In 2002 only 104 homes in the
LaBelle area were recorded at an average price of $87,250.
November 2004 saw the most homes sales of any one month at 24 homes in
LaBelle. So far, in 2005, seven homes were sold in January at an average
price of $89,000 and one sale in February at $149,000. In the Clewiston
area, 14 homes sold in January 2005 at an average price of $116,000.
Clewiston's record sales month was June 2004 with 22 homes sold.
