LaBelle Auto Repair Shop Owner In Cocaine Bust

Undercover Cocaine Buy Puts LaBelle Businessman In Jail

LABELLE, FL. -- LaBelle auto repair shop owner Shradhanand Bhagwandin, 40 has been arrested by Lee County's Sheriffs Office of Special Investigations after an alleged agreement by Bhagwandin to buy a kilogram of cocaine from undercover deputies for $25,000.

Reportedly he was also willing to purchase two more kilograms in the next few weeks.

Bhagwandin lives at 757 Bently Street in Lehigh Acres, Fl. and is charged with two 1st degree felony charges of cocaine traffic, and conspiracy to sell.

He is in the Lee county jail under the reversed and mis-spelled name Bhagwandand Shradhanand with bond set at a total of $75,000. His next court date is February 23.

Quaility 1 Auto Care, Inc. on the corner of Hardee Street and State Road 80 in downtown LaBelle is listed under the name Shardhanand Bhagwandin, according to the Florida Secretary of State's records.

The Hardee St. property is shown on Hendry property records, again names reversed as owned by Bhagwandin Shardhanand. He also owns 10 acres of land on F Road in LaBelle, purchased in 2006 for $140,000.

UPDATE: Bhagwandin plead nolo contendere and on November 7, 2009 he was given five years probation and ordered to do 150 hours community service for attempted trafficking of cocaine.

Ravi is a well respected and an amazing individual, despite his disposition with the law. Not only has he helped his own community, but helped the communities of others suffered in hurricane loss within the past years (among many more honorable things). As for those thanking Mike Scott for his wonderful work cleaning up Lehigh, thank him for wasting more tax payer’s dollars for arresting .00001% of the population in FL involved in a 70 billion dollar a yr industry. - jr

A alleged drug trafficker/dealer is NOT a "amazing individual" He is a alleged dirtbag. Anyone that makes a living poisoning our population and corrupting society is a dirtbag no matter how he over-compensates to appear to be a outstanding citizen. Like I said... God sorts them out no matter what uniform he or she may wear.
PS- this was no "little" amount of dope!

at the end of the day god will sort him out .. and all of you whom are passing judgement are drt bags .. i am sure he wasn't a dirt bag when he gave someone a discount or repaired something ofr free or help u out when you needed help .. now he is in a position where the media made his mistake public .. this is why your all saying what your saying .. who care what he owns who care what he bought in 2000 whos cares he got cought and the it... do the crime and pay the time ... i am sure you've all done something that the media has yet to uncover. becuase someone decides to use coke , marijuana, what ever it is yet you did not know about it because he never showed signs yet he was respectful always helped you out with a repair .. maye he said don't worry about the repair .. thats a nice person but now that he was busted he is a scumbag ..... how about the deputy that died because he crashed through a gate and ended ub in a shed or small building . after the investigation we find out he has a pending toxicology because maybe he partied does that make all his years work trash i don't think so he is a respected person in the community that made a mistake no one is better than anyone else on this earth ... by the way the person whom wirtes these stories with their face next to the tag knows about coke and marijuana alot....

whatever everyone has their opinion.but the people that have all the negative things to say about ravi are the people who don't know him.he is a good human being.if and i said if he did something wrong he will face those consequences and i'm sure none of ya'll will be there helping him so just sit back relax and let him do what he has to do.and about that officer that died while on duty.yea there was alot that he was doing while on duty.people know what he was into and now they try and make him out to be a good man just because he was an cop.please.these guys do more crimes than you think they just know how to cover them up.so now his children get insurance money because he was working at the time please he was an abusive cop not only to the community.that's why he was getting divorced because of his let's just say "excessive force' he was high off his mind when he ran through that gate or as people are saying commited suicide because of his problems. and GOD is the only one we should worry about judging us..

  16. I feel so bad for the owner, I mean nobody is perfect give him the respect to explain his part. For Shradhanand Bhagwandin the auto shop owner you wasted the opportunity to be the best auto shop in town, the success of your shop business. It's hard for the customers to trust you again.
