Birthday Bash Goes Bad For Dylan Zacccagnini

FORT MYERS, FL. --   On October 2, 2018, at 6:00 am, Florida Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a single vehicle traffic crash on Interstate Commerce Drive and Corporate Commerce Way. The crash involved a black Cadillac Deville, which had been driven off the roadway, became airborne and struck several trees. 

The driver of the Cadillac, Dylan Zaccagnini DOB 10/1/1991 of North Fort Myers, sustained minor injuries in the crash while the right front passenger, Jeremy Robert Campen DOB 9/14/79, sustained a serious injury. Both were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Mr. Zaccagnini was out celebrating his birthday, driving his Cadillac to his residence. Mr. Zaccagnini was determined to be impaired and placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (.142 BAC) involving a serious injury to Mr. Campen. 

In addition, troopers discovered a bag inside the Cadillac containing 97 THC Cartridges inside imprinted boxes with the name “MaryJane Gelato Vape Cartridge THC 82%” and a silver digital scale.

As a result of the investigation, Mr. Zaccagnini was placed under arrest for the below mentioned criminal charges:

  • Driving Under the Influence – Serious Body Injury to Another (Felony)
  • Drug Possession with Intent to Sell (Felony)
  • Drug Equipment Possession – Scale (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance without Prescription – (Felony)
  • Probation Violation
