IMMOKALEE FL.-- The annual open house was held at the University of Florida's IFAS facility north of Immokalee, Fl. on State Road 29 today.The Southwest Florida Research and Education Center offered tours of the facility, exhibits on the "Science of Crop Production" and a free luncheon for visitors.
Photo: Guests could take home locally grown vegetables and herbs at the open house today after enjoying a catered lunch and tour of the experimental citrus and vegetable farming areas.
