LABELLE, FL. -- At 2:48 p.m. Tuesday a 79 year old man from Pembroke Pines, Fl. died in a motorcycle crash on SR80 and Everhigh Acres Rd. in Hendry County. He was not wearing a helmet.
From the FHP crash report:
Vehicle 1 (motorcycle) was traveling east on State Road 80. Driver 1 failed to negotiate a curve to the right, traveled off the road and collided with a guardrail.
Driver 1 became separated from Vehicle 1 and came to rest in the median. Driver 1 was pronounced deceased on scene.
