Bird Migration With Kate Borduas April 8

LABELLE, FL. -- Learn about the how and why birds are able to make epic migration journeys during Kate Borduas presentation “Myths and Mysteries of Migration” at the Hendry-Glades Audubon Society meeting at 7 pm, Monday April 8, 2019 at the Dallas Townsend Hendry County Extension Building 1085 Platt Boulevard, LaBelle.

For most of history people observed that birds disappeared in cold weather - but no one knew where they went or why. Modern ornithologists have now learned a great deal about the “How and Why” of migration and the truth is every bit as amazing as those earlier fictions

Kate Borduas is a Florida Master Naturalist, President of the SunCoast Chapter of Master Naturalists and Florida Scrub Jay Docent. She volunteers, leads excursions and gives presentations with the goal of initiating folks into the wonders of nature.
