Hendry Storm Pickup And FEMA Center New Hours

LABELLE, FL. -- Residents in unincorporated Hendry County are asked to place all remaining storm debris in the right of way for pick up no later than Wednesday, October 26 as the County’s contracted debris hauler will soon complete their final pass.

Residents are asked to separate debris into piles as shown below for more efficient pick up:
Stack it separately from garbage or building debris.
Place it in piles that can easily be managed by collection personnel with a claw truck.
Do not place any waste below over obstacles such as trees or powerlines or near hydrants or mailboxes.
Do not place debris over downed power lines or fire hydrants.

Construction debris, horticulture and other miscellaneous debris may be picked up at different times.

The FEMA mobile registration center at Forrey Park in LaBelle has changed their hours to 9am – 5pm effective today.

The Center is located at 845 Forrey Drive, LaBelle, Fl. 33935.

FEMA representatives will be on site daily from 9am - 5pm through Tuesday November 1, 2022.

The Mobile Registration Intake Center (MRIC) will be staffed with FEMA personnel who can assist with Individual Assistance registration and answer questions about disaster-assistance programs.
