Terence Henry Gardner age 82 of Clewiston, Florida passed away at his home with his family around him on June 9, 2024.
Terence was born during WWII on May 10, 1942 in London, England to the late Henry William and the late Gwendolyn Grant Gardner. He married Maria “Mali” Soto and she survives him. He became an engineer worked around the World including places in United Kingdom, Greece, Sweden, Spain, USA (Kansas), South Africa, Italy, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and finally working in Clewiston (USA). His two proudest projects were Wolf Creek in Kansas and United States Sugar Corporation “Break Thru” in Clewiston.
Terence leaves fond memories with his loving wife; Maria “Mali” Gardner of Clewiston, daughter; Samantha and her husband Jerimiah Brown of Sebastopol, California, son; Keith Gardner and his wife Kinvara of London, England, grandson; Wolfe Gardner of London, England, sister-in-law; Gillian Gardner (widow of Bob).
Terence was preceded in death by his brothers; Bob and Peter.
Terence's life will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in Clewiston, where a visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. The celebration will be presided by Pastor Chuck Pelham of New Harvest Church and Chaplain Rory of Vitas Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Terence has suggested memorial donations be made to the Terence Gardner Scholarship Fund in care of the Clewiston Rotary (P.O. Box 832 Clewiston, Florida 33440)
