Balwinder Mann Dies In Motorcycle Crash

Balwinder Mann, 36 of Boca Raton died in a crash Sunday at 12:21 p.m. in Hendry County.

Dayana Venerero, 25 of West Palm Beach, in a 2013 Chevy Spark and Mann on a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle were both westbound on State Road 80, approximately half a mile west of Hendry Isles Blvd.

Mann was traveling behind Venerero until the motorcucle began to pass on the left lane. The Chevy failed to yield the right of way of the motorcycle as it attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway on the south shoulder of State Road 80, consequently causing the front end of the motorcycle to collide with the driver's side of the car.

The Chevy came to final rest on the eastbound lane of State Road 80 facing south. The motorcycle came to final rest on the eastbound lane of State Road 80, overturned and facing north. Mann was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Venerero was cited for failure to yield to a passing vehicle. Venerero had no injuries and a passenger in the Chevy had minor injuries.

  2. That is all you get, failure to yield, taking someone's life? How about taking the license away and not taking someone else's life again on the road? Maybe you should ask his 5yr old and 7yr old daughters on how to fulfill their dad's absence for rest of their lives.
