Obituaries - Wilmer Wiggins, James Schall

Wilmer J. "Jim" Wiggins, age 85, of Clewiston, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 2, 2017 in Okeechobee. He was born Jan. 30, 1932 in Escambia County, FL, to the late Larence Wiggins and the late Ethel Wiggins.

Jim married Evelyn Timothy January 7, 1951 in Clewiston, FL. He served in the Army. He also worked briefly at US Sugar. Jim was owner-operator of Clewiston Tire Shop for many years where he worked alongside his wife Evelyn. He retired for 10 years, but then started Western Auto Parts which he operated for many years. Jim loved traveling in his RV and flying planes. Jim was a deacon and member at Evangel Assembly of God for many years. In recent years, he attended Clewiston Church of God. He will be greatly missed by his daughter and everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his daughter: Melanie Wiggins, brothers: Doyle (Jimmie) Wiggins and Faye Kelting (Don) Chancey, sister: Jeanette Wiggins, nieces and nephews and many extended family members and dear close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother: Wayne Wiggins

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 10:00 am at Clewiston Church Of God, Clewiston with Pastor Josh Caraway and Pastor Bernard Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation will be Monday, May 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL.

James Brion Schall, age 54, of LaBelle, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Lehigh Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6, 1963 in Rahway, NJ, to the late John H and Anne T. (Johnson) Schall. A custodian for Hendry County for years.

Survived by his Brother Robert T. (Janet) Schall of LaBelle, FL and his sisters: Diane E. (Donald) Orr of LaBelle, FL and Patricia (Irv) Brustein of PA, Also survived by Several Nieces And Nephews and friends. Services at the convenience of the family.
