Vehicle 01 (Dodge Charger) was traveling south on State Road 29, south of County Road 74 driven by 20 year old male from Bradenton.
Vehicle 02 (Dodge Pick-up Truck towing trailer) was traveling south on State Road 29 in front of Vehicle 01 and at a slower speed than Vehicle 02, and was driven by a 47 year old man from LaBelle.
Vehicle 01 failed to slow and the front of Vehicle 01 collided with the rear of Vehicle 02's trailer in the southbound lane of State Road 29.
After impact, Vehicle 01 traveled across the western paved shoulder and onto the western grass shoulder in a southwesterly direction.
Vehicle 02 came to a controlled stop facing in a southerly direction on the western grass shoulder, south of Vehicle 01's final rest.
