Linda "Lovely Linda" Leitner, age 44 of Clewiston, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She leaves behind her husband of almost 19 years, Albert Harold Leitner, age 46, her daughter Kaitlyn Hannah, age 14 and her son, Aaron Harold age 9.
Linda was originally from Fort Pierce, Florida but moved to Clewiston in 2003 after marrying into the Leitner family. In many ways, Linda's life was a miracle, a testament to the grace that comes from the good Lord. Diagnosed with brain cancer at age five, Linda was able to overcome incredible odds to make a full recovery. Her most significant accomplishment in life was becoming a mother and wife. Her daily walk and faith in God inspired so many. She loved her family, and she loved her church family. She enjoyed the yearly church youth summer camps where she helped orient young people to Jesus.
As her children grew older, she loved taking family trips to Sea World and visiting our beautiful state parks. Linda was always kind. She exemplified the love of God in the way she treated everyone with kindness and understanding. It was her relationship with God that encouraged her to get heavily involved in her church. Rarely missing a church service, she gave back to her church by being a Sunday School teacher and always being willing to serve others and help out where needed.
Linda Leitner was preceded in death by her sister Marla Egers, grandparents Martin Herndon and Edward & Lanette Egers.
She is survived by her husband Albert Harold Leitner, and her two children, Kaitlyn and Aaron Leitner, her mother Cindy Clark, father Eddie Egers, step-father David Clark, Eddie's Partner Maureen McDevitt, and two step- sisters, Chris Warner and Amanda Clark. In addition, grandparents Martha Herndon and step-grandparents John & Marlene Clark, and numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
