John Herman Pruitt, age 75, of Clewiston, passed away September 20, 2019 in Lake Placid after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 9, 1944, in Alleghany County, NC, to the late Sherman and the late Hazel Pruitt. Herman married Beulah Ann Dixon. Herman worked as a manager for Southwest Florida Water Management for many years. Herman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him dearly. Herman enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and close friends.
Herman is survived by his loving and devoted wife; Beulah Ann Pruitt, children; Penny Ward and family, Toby Pruitt and family; Timmy Pruitt and family, along with Terry Pruitt and family, and fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many close family friends.
Herman will be laid to rest in Landmark Cemetery in Sparta, North Carolina.
