What Imports Will Have Tariffs Starting February 4

On Tuesday, February 4, the following imports will have tariffs imposed on them:

Imports from Canada: A 25% tariff will be imposed on all products, except for Canadian energy exports, which will have a 10% tariff. This includes natural gas, hydroelectric power, and uranium.

Imports from Mexico: A 25% tariff will be imposed on all products.

Imports from China: A 10% tariff will be imposed on all products.

These tariffs are part of the Trump administration's protectionist trade initiatives and are set to take effect on February 4, 2025.

    Consumers on both sides will suffer for no apparent benefit except for Trump to say he's "a tough negotiator".
