MOORE HAVEN, FL. -- Connie S. Hough, 39 of Moore Haven was cited for failure to yield right of way while driving a school bus Thursday afternoon in Glades county.
The Glades county school bus was southbound on Pine Avenue as a 2012 Volkswagon Passat driven by Kristin L. McClelland, 25 of Moore Haven was westbound on Leisure Boulevard.
Hough came to a stop at a stop sign at the intersection of southbound Pine Avenue and Leisure Boulevard and then proceeded to make a left turn (east) onto Leisure Boulevard.
As she attempted to complete the turn onto Leisure Boulevard, McClelland continued westbound on Leisure Avenue. As a result, the left front of the car made contact with the left side of the school bus in the westbound lane of Leisure Boulevard.
No injuries were reported during the crash said the FHP.
