On August 7th, the Kiwanis Club of LaBelle learned about new rules for your Driver's License. The new license format has a "star" in the top right-hand corner. All license holders must have this new license by the year 2020 or you will not be able to board a plane, train or bus.
Additionally, the guest speakers talked about being an organ donor, safe driving, and school safety. Kiwanis members also learned about the concealed weapons process.
LaBelle Kiwanis guest speaker at the August 21st meeting was Mandy Goldenberg, Child Advocate Recruiter, for Guardian Ad Litem Foundation. She presented the importance of advocating for abused/neglected children which could give them a chance for a better life.
