LEHIGH ACRES, FL. -- A Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle was eastbound on C.R.884, east of North Avenue, within the outside lane about 11:14 a.m. Saturday approaching the left curving portion of C.R.884.
Jean Baptiste Pierre of Lehigh Acres failed to maintain control and the motorcycle went off the roadway into the south shoulder and collided with a traffic control device (Left curve indicator). It then went over the sidewalk, onto the grassy portion, before the front struck the right side of a parked motor vehicle that was properly parked within a parking space in the Winn Dixie parking lot.
The driver was deceased upon arrival of the FHP.
