LABELLE, FL. -- Firehouse Theatre is proud to present “Bag Lady” by Jean-Claude van Itallie.
This is a “pop-up” play to spotlight one or our local actresses, Kyla Miller. This play was presented at the Central Florida Theatre competition and won awards.
The play takes place on the streets of New York, where this bag lady calls home. On this day, she goes about her business, stuffing her shopping bags with assorted oddments. Suddenly assailed by voices of passersby, she responds to them both humorously and belligerently.
This is a one-act, one-night-only performance. Tickets are only available at the door on the night of the performance, Thursday, August 29th at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (grade school up to college age). Seats are on a ‘first-come, first-served” basis, so arrive early to get your favorite seat!
Please come out to support our local young actors! The Firehouse Community Theatre is located in beautiful downtown LaBelle at 241 N Bridge Street LaBelle. We hope to see you there!
