LABELLE, FL. -- The FHP reports a pedestrian fatality Sunday at 7:40 p.m. as follows:
Vehicle 1, a pickup truck was westbound on State Road 80 (Hickpochee Avenue) on the inside lane, approximately west of Hendry Street in LaBelle.Pedestrian 1, a 60 year old male from Winter Haven was on the north sidewalk of Hickpochee Avenue and attempted to cross the westbound Hickpochee Avenue travel lanes.
The front of Vehicle 1 collided with Pedestrian 1. Vehicle 1 and Pedestrian 1 came to final rest in the area of collision.
