He was fifty-six years old.
Born to the late Yongso and Buim Park in South Korea, he was the youngest of seven children.
He served in the US Air Force. He graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor of science and went on to obtain a doctorate degree in osteopathy medicine from Ohio University. He specialized in internal medicine and practiced in Lehigh Acres, Florida for the last 22 years and genuinely cared for his patients.
He was an avid Buckeye fan.
He is survived by two brothers; Chanil Park and Joshua Park, and four sisters; Myeong Sheard, Hyeoak Park, Jeongoak Park, and Sarah Polk.
He will be laid to rest in Greensboro, North Carolina.

ReplyDeleteI was one of Dr Parks first patients when he came to Lehigh and continued to be his patient up until 5 yrs ago when I moved. He will be solely missed. BEST doctor with the BEST bedside manner I have ever met. My heart goes out to his family. RIP Dr Park

ReplyDeleteDr Park’s family decided to lay him to rest on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, in the Field of Honor at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida, since he was an Air Force veteran. So the last part of this post referencing a possible burial in North Carolina is no longer accurate. In response to the previous commenter, he passed away after bravely battling cancer. RIP
