Obituaries - Archie Morrison, Corinna Sanchez, Brandi Sanders, Frederick Paranta

Archie Morrison, age 77, of LaBelle, passed away April 20, 2020 in LaBelle. He was born Jan. 18, 1943 in Avon Park, FL. to the late Woodrow W and Evelyn (West) Morrison. He was the Owner of a Well Drilling Company. Survivors include one son: Scott (Carrie) Morrison three daughters: Paula Morrison Woods, Lori Ridley and Stephani Staton, one sister: Nellene Morrison Shelton and 12 Grandchildren. Corinna Frank-Sanchez, age 56, of Clewiston, passed away April 20, 2020 in Immokalee. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Big Cypress Cemetery, Big Cypress Reservation. Interment will be in Big Cypress Cemetery. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.

Brandi N Sanders, age 35, of LaBelle, passed away April 19, 2020 in LaBelle. She was born May 30, 1984 in Fort Myers, FL, to the late William and Cynthia (Bass) Sanders. Survivors include one daughter: Jacey Martinez Mother: Cynthia (Bass) Sanders one brother: Brian (Shanna) Sanders one sister: Britany (Winston) Skinner half brother, Mark (Christina) Sanders Memorial services will be held a later date. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.

Frederick S Parantha, 67, passed away at home April 18, 2020 in Clewiston, FL. He was born July 14, 1952 in Lithonia, GA to Charles H and Freddie (Autry) Parantha. 

Fred graduated from Deland High School and then received his bachelor's degree from Troy State University. Fred began his career as an elementary physical education teacher in Clewiston. 

He left teaching and went to work for United States Sugar Corporation. He later returned to his first love, teaching and retired from Labelle Elementary School in 2017. 

Fred loved fishing, Miami Hurricanes, and his family and friends. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, his sense of humor, and his kind spirit. 

Fred was predeceased by a brother, Joe Parantha and a sister, Barbara Caldwell. He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Vicki (Lilley) Parantha, sons Frederick "Reko" Parantha and wife Sherry of Labelle, FL and Matthew Parantha of Frederick, MD, 2 grandchildren; Abbey and Brandon, and 1 twin sister Marion Padgett of Deland, FL. 

He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Due to Covid 19, a memorial service will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Fred's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or The Humane Society. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
