Eddie Redd, Jr. and Darius Redd were out on bond at the time of their arrest.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant at the home of Eddie Leon Redd, Sr., 713 Arkansas Ave., in Clewiston, Florida. Once inside the residence, Investigators made contact with Eddie Redd, Jr. and Darius Redd.
Investigators located a large amount of illegal narcotics, packaging equipment, and narcotic paraphernalia along with a portion of narcotics that were already packaged for sale.
Based on information received as the result of the Search Warrant, Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, requested an arrest warrant for 54 year old, Eddie Leon Redd, Sr.
On April 23, 2020, at approximately 7:00pm, Major Crimes Investigators located Redd during a traffic stop. At this time Redd Was arrested on an outstanding warrant. During the search of the vehicle Deputies located ammunition and several cell phones. It was found that Eddie Leon Redd, Sr., is a convicted felon and not permitted to be in possession of ammunition.
Redd was taken into custody and arrested on Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon and a number of drug charges. Redd is currently being held in the Hendry County Jail of $220,000.00 bond.
