Stanley C. Wegscheid, age 81, of LaBelle, passed away June 28, 2012 in LaBelle. He was born May 25, 1931 in Waverly, MN, to the late Edmund F. and the late Anna (Vorderbruggen) Wegscheid.
He served in the Army from Nov 1950 to Nov 1953. He was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, VFW Post 10100, LaBelle Moose Lodge, and American Legion Post 130. He was a past member of the 20th Judicial Nominating Commission, SW Florida Regional Planning Council, Port LaBelle Community Development District, Board of Directors 1st Federal Savings & Loan, Vice Chairman Swamp Cabbage Festival, LaBelle Lions Club Past President, Kiwanis, Hendry Co Volunteer Emergency Responder in the 60's, LaBelle City Commissioner, Chairman City of LaBelle Variance Board and Swamp Cabbage Festival Grand Marshall.
Survivors include his wife: Patricia (Jones) Wegscheid, one son: Scott (Susan) Wegscheid and one daughter: Wendy (Wesley) O'Ferrell, five brothers: Harlan (Joann) Wegscheid, Virgil (Virginia) Wegscheid, Edmund (Betty) Wegscheid, Marcel (Ella) Wegscheid, Darril (Mary) Wegscheid and three sisters: Cordelia Lewandoski, Sharon Dominik (Dennis Williams), Kaleene (Thomas) Willard. Step sons, Jesse (Leslie) Hamric and Joey (Stephanie) Schafer; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 9:00 am at Our Lady Queen Of Heaven Catholic Church, LaBelle with Father Chester Domaszewicz officiating. Interment was in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
Norma Jane Carr, age 80, of Moore Haven, passed away June 27, 2012 in Fort Myers,FL.
She was born Oct. 28, 1931 in Conneautville, PA, to the late Daniel C. and the late Mildred L. (Washburn) Dodge.
Norma serviced in the Air Force until she started her family.
Survivors include her husband: Richard Allen Carr, four sons: Christopher Carr, Darell Carr, Richard Carr Jr., Daniel Carr and one daughter: Kimber Carr.

Vonita S. Mack, age 56, of Clewiston, passed away June 23, 2012 in Clewiston. She was born Sep. 11, 1955 in Seymour, IN, to Lavonne and Anita J. (Sedam) Strope.
Survivors include her husband: John Mack, two sons: Christopher Knox Mack, Ross Daniel Mack and one daughter: Megan Lyn Mack, father Lavonne Strope, mother Anita J. (Sedam) Strope, brother: Daniel Strope and two sisters: Vanesa Kim Collier, Veleda Jan Taylor and one grandchild Liam Kai Mack.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church, Clewiston with Rev. John Hicks officiating.
