Jason B. Walker, 48 of Alva was traveling west on State Road 78 (North River Road) east of Cemetery Road in Lee County at 1:50 a.m. Saturday morning when he lost control of a 2003 Ford F-150 and ran off the road onto the right grass shoulder.
He then over corrected to the left back onto the roadway and the truck then began to roll over onto its right side, colliding with a mailbox and continuing to roll over, before coming to final rest on its roof on the eastbound right shoulder facing south. He was ejected as a result of the rollover. The FHP says he was not wearing a seatbelt and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
