LABELLE, FL. -- The Kiwanis Club of LaBelle will present their annual Kiwanis Kids’ Day Saturday, October 19th in Barron Park. The Kiwanis Club has sponsored this event for over 35 years and they invite the public join Kiwanis for a fun-filled day for the whole family!
Dr. Lamar Youman’s will be the emcee and Wolfgang Lynn will be the music director. The event will have entertainment, games, adoptable dogs, pony rides, fossils, bounce houses, gators, a bike rodeo and Harry Chapin Food Bank.
The LaBelle High School Kiwanis Key Club with be doing face painting, our Builders Club will be have rock painting, along with the Sheriff’s Explorers assisting with the bike rodeo, Mary the Clown, Smokey the Bear, McGruff and the crash dummies will all be there
There will be a girls and boys bike raffled off, plus one with training wheels for the younger boy/girl. All donated by Vision Ace Hardware. Enjoy popcorn, snow cones and fix your own s’mores. Kiwanis members will be serving drinks, chips, nachos, hot dogs and pizza. The event starts at 10am and will end at 2pm.
Additionally there will be lots of agencies, businesses and community partners set up in the Barron Park to provide fun things and educational information for kids and their families. Don’t miss this event.
