(February 28, 2025) – Please be advised that, beginning Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the Hendry County Road & Bridge Department will be closing Birchwood Parkway from Utility Drive to E Cowboy Way in LaBelle, FL.
The purpose of the road closure is to replace drainage culverts underneath Birchwood Parkway with new culverts.
The work is expected to have a completion time of approximately two (2) weeks.
Work will occur from Tuesday, March 4, 2025 to Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Motorists heading south bound on Birchwood Parkway are to take Dellwood Terrace to NW Raintree Blvd as a detour route to reach E Cowboy Way.
Motorists heading north bound on Birchwood Parkway are to take E Cowboy Way or alternative routes to reach SR 80.
Residents can still use Utility Drive to get to the Port LaBelle Utility System office to make utility bill payments or ask questions.
Visual message signs and traffic control signage will be in place to alert and guide traffic.
Motorists should expect possible delays throughout the duration of the project and allow extra time for their commute.
