Arrest Of Suspected Cocaine Dealer

CLEWISTON, FL -- On April 20,2007, a joint effort between the Hendry County Sheriff�s Office and the City of Clewiston Police Department resulted in a search warrant being served at a residence located at West El Paso Avenue in Clewiston, Florida. Sheriff Ronnie Lee announced that as a result of the search, Nathaniel Thomas, 35 years of age, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine With Intent to Sell.

Both Sheriff Ronnie Lee and Assistant Clewiston Police Chief Kristine Petersen, were present at the scene of this joint effort to eradicate illegal narcotics throughout Hendry County. Crack cocaine and a loaded 9mm Ruger handgun were also recovered during the search of the residence.
