Hendry County Empties Medicine Cabinets



Drop Off Unused Drugs At LaBelle And Clewiston Stores

LABELLE, FL. -- Empty your medicine cabinet of expired, unused, unwanted prescriptions and over the counter drugs and bringing those to the local Operation Medicine Cabinet™ drop off location on Saturday, November 5th, 2011.

Because medications should not be flushed down the toilet or thrown in the garbage, and because they pose a risk to children in the home Drug Free Hendry County and the Hendry County Sheriff's Office have partnered with J&J and K&M Family Pharmacies to offer this community program for the 3rd time in Hendry County. 

70% of people over 12 who abuse prescription drugs report they get their drugs from a family member. Don't be the supplier. 

Ayman Kaki, owner of J&J Pharmacy in Labelle, will be providing hamburgers and hot-dogs to those who come by the store.

Medication drops offs will be welcomed during Operation Medicine Cabinet between 10 am and 1 pm on November 5th, 2011 at the stores in LaBelle and Clewiston.
