FORT MYERS, FL. -- Calvin Lee McIntosh, 64 of Sanibel died in a crash on McGregor Blvd, Sunday morning about 9:53 a.m.
A 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Driver of Alton Lee Travis, Jr., 45 of Lehigh Acres was traveling north on McGregor Blvd (CR-867), east of Punta Rassa Rd, in the outside lane as McIntosh was traveling north on CR-867 east of Punta Rassa Rd in the inside lane, riding a 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster.
Travis changed lanes in front of the motorcycle as it braked and laid the motorcycle on its side, colliding with the rear left of the truck. Travis and his passenger had no injuries.
Charges are pending investigation.
So sad to hear this news. He was one of the nicest men ive met. So sorry for Diane. I wish we could have been with them more often. This is just horrible. I saw them not too long ago. RIP Cal we will never forget you buddy.
