Spiritual Care, Understanding Alzheimer's And More November 20

LABELLE, FL. -- Hope HealthCare Services invites the public to an afternoon of informative, educational and inspirational presentations at “A Day of Learning: How Hope Helps Connect Our Community.”

Hope Connections Manager Kristina Rodriquez will present an overview of Hope’s programs and volunteer opportunities in the LaBelle community.

Hope’s Spiritual Care Counselor Jonathan Scalone, MA, DMin., retired Lt. Col. U.S. Air Force, will lead a discussion about veterans and the causes, recognition and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in “Delayed Onset PTSD: The Legacy of War.”

Hope Volunteer Orientation Team member and Certified Alzheimer Educator Patty Sullivan, RN, will present “Understanding Alzheimer’s,” including information about early warning signs and caregiver support.

Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Refreshments will be served.
