He was a contractor and the developer of Caloosa Cove in LaBelle. Before moving to LaBelle, he lived in Homestead, FL where he owned a hardware store and rental properties.
He is survived by his son Danny Spann of Okeechobee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Spann in 2012.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2016, 11:00 am at Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.

John Aaron Peacock, Jr, age 79, of Clewiston passed away October 17, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Nov. 17, 1936 in to John Aaron and Millie Idela (Matthews) Peacock, Sr.

John Aaron Peacock, Jr, age 79, of Clewiston passed away October 17, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Nov. 17, 1936 in to John Aaron and Millie Idela (Matthews) Peacock, Sr.
Mr. Peacock married Carole Satterwhite. They have been married for over 30 years, they attended First United Methodist Church of Clewiston for many years. John was a heavy equipment operator for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife; Carole, two sons: John Aaron and Aaron Joe, and three daughters: Melinda, Tiffany and Johnnie Kaye, one brother: Harold E. Peacock (Patsi) and one sister: Joyce Humphrey (JL), seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his entire family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Floyd D. Peacock, Bobby Franklin Peacock, Billy Joe Peacock, Alton J. Peacock, Wayne Bo Peacock.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Ridgelawn Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.
