MOORE HAVEN, FL. -- Jonathan Clarke Busbin, 26 of Alva was traveling north on County Road 731 at 2:45 p.m. Friday, approaching a left curve on Walter Greer Road. He continued to travel north failing to negotiate the curve and entered the grass shoulder north of the curve.
The vehicle collided with a fence north of Walter Greer Road and continued to travel north colliding with a tree.The vehicle rotated counter-clockwise before coming to final rest facing east.
Busbin was charged with DUI causing bodily and property damage. Passengers T J Albertelli, 27 and John Knight 27, both of Lehigh Acres were seriously injured and taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
