Margaret Greer Howard of LaBelle, passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at the age of 88.
She was one of 11 children born in Ortona, FL to Walter and Susie Greer on July 17, 1932.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Howard, son Bobby Howard, son in law Lynn Howard, parents Susie & Walter Greer, and siblings Boa, Bill, Sister, Wallace, Jim and Wayne.
She is survived by her son Jimbo (Laura) Howard, daughter Louise Howard, grandchildren Susie (Jeremy) Howard, Melissa (Robby) Howard Music, Robbie (Brandi) Howard, Becky Howard, Sherry (Tommy) Howard Richard. Great grandchioldren Mackenzie Music, Madison Music, Tyler Music, RayAnna Howard, Ronin Richard, Jamie Smith, Jordan Smith. Siblings Blish, Freida, Violet, and Johnny. A later in life companion Larry Boyd.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother,grandmother, daughter, siister, aunt and friend. Most days you would find her in her greenhouse talking toi her plants, or in the kitchen cooking dinner or baking for the people she loved most. She was a force of nature and will be fiercely missed.
The family will recieve friends on Monday May 24, 2021 from 6 to 7 PM at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home 560 E. Hickpochee Ave. LaBelle.
Graveside Service will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Fort Denaud Cemetery with Pastor Bill Maddox officiating.
Shelia A. Salisbury, age 65 of LaBelle, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2021 in her home.
Shelia was born in Sikeston, Missouri on September 4, 1955 to the late Kenneth Edward and the late Johnnie Faye Kemp McGhee. Shelia worked as a bartender for many years. Shelia loved any activity that was outdoors, from walking in the woods, to fishing, to just spending time outside with family and friends. She was an avid collector of antiques.
Shelia leaves behind her loving children; Nicole Garza of LaBelle, Florida and Donnie McGhee of Immokalee, Florida, one brother; Randy McGhee of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and one sister; Shirley Williams of East Prairie, MIssouri, along with five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Shelia was also preceded in death by her brother; Eddie Gene McGhee.
Celebration of Shelia's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Fort Denaud Cemetery, where visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the celebration.
