She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished member of her community. Sally's life was characterized by her unwavering kindness, generosity, and loyalty to her family and friends.
She dedicated many years as a Head Cook for the Hendry County School Board, where she nurtured the bodies and spirits of countless children with her warm meals and caring demeanor. Her legacy in the school system is felt not only in the delicious dishes she prepared but also in the profound impact she had on the lives of many students and staff.
An active participant in her local church, Sally found great joy in attending services at the First Christian Church of LaBelle. She was a founding member of her church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and guided her in all her endeavors.
Sally is survived by her loving sons, Willie Cockram and his wife Ansley, and Ced Cockram and his wife Vickie. She was a proud grandmother to John, Kallie, Mason, Adeline, and Sheldon, and a great-grandmother to darling Josie. Sally will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom were touched by her warmth and compassion. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her remarkable life and the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind.
Sally will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
