(June 12, 2025) – LaBelle, Fla. – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued at 8:49 am Thursday to the following areas due to a damaged water line in Glades County.
The affected areas are:
· River Run
· The Villas
· Port LaBelle Marina
· Port LaBelle Inn (The hotel is closed for at least the summer for renovations.)

The precautionary boil water notice will be lifted when satisfactory bacteriological sampling results are obtained.
A boil water notice does not mean the water is contaminated. As a precaution, it is advised to boil the water for 1 minute before consumption.
Residents with questions or concerns are asked to call 863-675-5376.
UPDATE: The precautionary boil water notice in effect for areas of the Port LaBelle Utility System has been lifted as of 3:40 PM Friday.
Bacteriological tests run on the water returned with passing results. Residents may discontinue boiling their water.
The water may not be contaminated but it's certainly cloudy.
