Cyclist Misses Turn In Careless Driving Crash

MOORE HAVEN, FL. -- Brian K. Clement, 48 of Fort Lauderdale is in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital after a crash of his 2009 Yamaha R1.

Clement was traveling west on CR 731 in Glades county at 1:15 p.m. Sunday when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway,  leaving the roadway on the right side, striking a traffic sign, and overturning.

He's being charged with careless driving by the FHP.
