Otis Ray Marney, age 75, of Lake City, passed away July 9, 2015 in Lake City.
He was born June 11, 1940 in Clayton, New Mexico, to Doyle David and Georgia Mae (Sanders) Marney. He served in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter.
His survivors include his children; Otis Ray Marney and his wife Resa, Billy Wayne Marney, Adam Doyle Marney, Angel Lamae Kirtland and her husband Michael, and Amanda Juanita McRoy and her husband Jonathan, brothers and sisters; Marvin Marney, Jerry Marney and his wife Carolyn, Alena Thomas and her husband Eddie, Lester Marney, Chester Marney and Delbert Marney, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, son, David Eugene Marney and sister Modena Marlene Marney.
Graveside service celebrating his life was held Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Ortona Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
