Replacement Sewer Lines Going To Two More Port LaBelle Streets

PORT LABELLE, FL. -- Beginning Friday, July 30, 2021, Hendry County’s contractor, Strickler Bros. Underground, Inc., will be removing trees on the West end side of Schooner Drive, LaBelle, FL in Country Village. The work is in preparation for the rehabilitation of a Port LaBelle Utility System gravity sewer line.

Operations will require the road to be temporarily closed with local traffic permitted only.

Motorists should expect lane closures and possible delays throughout the duration of the work operations.

Motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

The work is expected to have last approximately two (2) days.

Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. Hendry County will notify the public of any schedule changes.

On Monday August 2, 2021, Hendry County’s contractor, Strickler Bros. Underground, Inc., will begin construction on NE Eucalyptus Blvd for the rehabilitation of a Port LaBelle Utility System gravity sewer line.

The work will be done in the right-of-way with no lane closures. However, motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

The work is expected to last approximately sixteen (16) days.
