Woman Dead In 3 Vehicle Hendry County Crash

LABELLE, FL. -- At 2:20 a.m. Saturday morning, Vehicle 1, a pickup from Moore Haven, was traveling east on State Road 80, just east of Lexington Parkway. Vehicle 2, an SUV, from Miami was traveling east, in front of Vehicle 1. 

The front of Vehicle 1 collided with the rear of Vehicle 2. Both Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 traveled off the roadway right and collided with a guardrail. Vehicle 1 came to rest partially on top of the guardrail. 

Vehicle 2 came to rest on State Road 80. 

Vehicle 3, a sedan from Clewiston, was traveling east and collided with the rear portion of Vehicle 2. A 38 year old female from North Miami a passenger in vehicle 2 died in the crash.

Vehicle 3 overturned and came to rest on its roof. The fatal crash remains under investigation. All others suffered minor injuries.
