From the FHP crash report:
Vehicle 1, a pickup truck driven by a 30 year old male from Clewiston was traveling west on Hunting Club Avenue, approaching South Datil Street.
Pedestrian 1 was walking west along the north edge of Hunting Club Avenue, in the roadway. The front of vehicle 1 collided with Pedestrian 1.
Pedestrian 1 came to rest on the north grass shoulder of Hunting Club Avenue. Vehicle 1 veered right and collided with a tree on the grass shoulder, east of the intersection.
Pedestrian 1 was pronounced deceased.
