LABELLE, FL. -- Beginning Friday, January 28, 2022, Hendry County’s contractor, OHLA USA, Inc., will be closing west bound Helms Road from west of Wilson Road to SR29 to motorists as part of the signal improvements project at SR29 and Helms Road in LaBelle, FL.
Motorists heading west bound on Helms Road can utilize Wilson Road as a detour route to reach SR29.
Motorists should expect possible delays throughout the duration of the project and allow extra time for their commute. Visual message signs and traffic control signage will be in place to alert traffic.
The work is expected to have a completion time of approximately one (1) day. Operations will begin on Friday (01/28/22) at 8:00am and end at 4:00pm.
Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The Hendry County Engineering Department will notify of any changes.
